Martin Buchheit is a well-known name in sports performance but maybe not as well known in the cyber industry; Martin was the Head of Performance at Paris Saint Germain, from July 2014 to July 2020. He currently works as a High-Performance Consultant at Lille OSC, together with the role of Head of Performance Research at Kitman Labs, in charge of the Performance Intelligence Research Initiative.

ACENSI CYBER’S Benjamin Boulnois got together to discuss general topics and themes around high-performance personnel, what are the consequences of a toxic member of a company, and general insights into some of the common things you can do to reduce your cyber risk.

Show Notes

  1. People are more complex than our understanding of their actions. It is good to catch all types of discourses, disagreements, as well as other issues as early as possible – so MANAGE your team accordingly, so that SILOS, talking behind the back etc. does not develop at all.

  2. Culture is not simple either – sometimes you can’t just throw “hip” and “modern” methods at a whole established team. Plus, the more often you can step back and look at the big picture of your company/team, you will make better small decisions along the way.

  3. You are likely still not understanding (and massively underestimating) how bad using third party communication apps is for the safety of your sensible athlete data
